Pizzelles are traditional Italian waffle cookies that are commonly
made for holidays or special events. The word "Pizzelle" means small,
flat, and round. This recipe in specific has been passed down from
my great-grandmother who would make these every year for Christmas.
Now, my family will make these at our Christmas gatherings.
